About the artist
SarahYsha is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, choreographer and visual artist, who has lived between France and Benin since 2022. Her work connects her research in music, body psychology, jazz, bio-neural sounds and ancestral memories in the contemporary body.
Her shows express multiple artistic disciplines, such as performance, dance, experimental music and the body as a vehicle for stories and memories.
Her most recent work is the musical performance « Spiritual Biatch! », a research that has as artistic pillars, body psychology and ancestral memories, bioneural music, based on African creation myths.
The musical project is a research into the traditional rhythms of Brazilian and the West African coast in symbiosis with new technologies based on 3 T’s – Tradition, Technology and Trance in favor of personal and community artistic development.
